The mitt is made of soft plasticized viscose with an elastic wrist, equipped with a pre-soapy sponge and dry gel. It contains the amount of gel necessary to wash an adult. The gel used has a physiological pH, is gentle on the skin, and is humectant. The mitt is single-use and single-patient. Dermatologically tested product. Latex free.
In all hospital wards, particularly in Resuscitation, Geriatrics, Neurology, Infectious Diseases, Neurosurgery, Cardiology, Intensive Care, and Surgery.
Before putting on the mitt, it is necessary to ensure that the part containing the sponge covers the palm of your hand.
- Using a syringe or similar single-use device, draw de-bacterized water or saline solution to limit potential external contamination as much as possible, and moisten the pre-soapy sponge of the mitt.
- Gently massage the area to be treated, creating a large amount of foam. The amount of foam developed is proportional to the amount of liquid added.
- Once the operation is complete, remove the mitt with your fingertips.
- Using your other hand, take the bottom part of the mitt and flip it inside out, leaving the used part inside, to prevent any risk of unwanted contamination.
- No rinsing is necessary.
Single-use, the mitt is plasticized, featuring a pre-soapy sponge and an elastic wrist.
- A practical, hygienic, and fast solution.
- The soap used is gentle, with a physiological pH, blue in color, and fragrance-free.
- The soap contains:
- Glycerin – a humectant, a type of moisturizing agent that attracts water to the outer layer of the skin.
- Cetearyl Alcohol – used to soften the skin and hair. As an emollient, it is considered an effective ingredient for soothing and treating dry skin.
- Glyceryl Stearate – slows down transepidermal water loss from the skin by forming a film on the surface. This helps maintain the moisture balance necessary for healthy skin and lubricates the surface to give it a soft and smooth appearance.
- Cetyl Palmitate – acts as a skin conditioning agent and emollient.
- Moisturizes the skin and is indicated for delicate skin such as that of newborns.
- 0% ethyl alcohol.
- 0% parabens.
- Soft and absorbent, gentle on the skin, it helps prevent irritation and dermatitis caused by incontinence and ensures maximum comfort for the patient.
- The elastic helps keep the mitt on the operator’s hand.
- Reduces management costs by requiring less time compared to traditional washing and fewer products to be used.
- Being single-use, any possibility of contagion is avoided. It prevents the use of reusable towels and/or sponges which, in addition to needing to be washed and sanitized after use, represent a potential danger for possible microbiological contamination.
